We at Pumpkin Patch Day Care are committed to establishing, promoting and maintaining a culture of sustainability, environmental, and social responsibility within our organization and all the stake holders.

 

We have adopted 3R concept [ REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE] as our duty towards Going Green.

 

To support this we have started various ongoing initiatives. Few of them are listed below

 

  • Composting plant in Hinjewadi Centre .
  • Goal based monitoring and reducing usage of water, electricity , paper and food
  • Creating awareness among children about Environment through different activities
  • Tree plantation initiatives of the staff along with parents

Energy conservation –   The future of our children, the future of this planet is in our hands and that’s why energy matters. Pumpkin Patch Day care has taken a small step towards energy conservation by installing Solar inverters in Wakad and Hinjewadi centers.

 

Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan.-   Swachh Bharat Mission was launched throughout length and breadth of the country as a national movement. Pumpkin Patch Day Care pledges to be a active participant of this movement through conducting activities like

 

  • Staff painting the Municipal corporation garden walls in Wakad
  • Cleaning drives at various locations
  • Teaching children on importance of cleanliness and their role
